Feedback: If you submit feedback through the platform, we store the content of your message along with your account email.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including account authentication and tier management.
• To process subscription payments through Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets, account notifications).
• To monitor system security, detect abuse, and prevent unauthorized access.
• To improve the Service based on usage patterns and feedback.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords (bcrypt), firewall rules, and automated security monitoring. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Inactive accounts: Accounts inactive for 365 consecutive days may be permanently deleted, including all associated data. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email before deletion.
• Deleted accounts: Upon account deletion (voluntary or due to inactivity), your personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
• Security logs: IP addresses and security event logs are retained for up to 90 days for abuse prevention.

5. Cookies & Tracking

MarqetDataLabs uses browser localStorage to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics services that track you across other websites. We do not serve advertisements.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Server hosting, email delivery (SES), and DNS management.
• Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI-generated market analysis and commentary.
• Yahoo Finance (yfinance): Market data sourcing.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum information necessary for each service to function.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@marqetdatalabs.com.
• Export: Request a machine-readable export of your data.
